Is your TIE ready? Here’s how to book your appointment to collect it

If your batch is already included, the next step is to book an appointment (cita previa) to collect your TIE.

You can book your appointment through the official immigration website: icp.administracionelectronica.gob.es

To make things easier, you can go straight to the appointment system with Barcelona and the CNP COMISARIA L’HOSPITALET DE LLOBREGAT office already selected:

Once inside, just select the procedure POLICIA – RECOGIDA DE TARJETA DE IDENTIDAD DE EXTRANJERO (TIE) (Police – TIE card collection).

Once you’re in the system:

1. Check that the selected office is CNP COMISARIA L’HOSPITALET DE LLOBREGAT.
2. Select POLICIA – RECOGIDA DE TARJETA DE IDENTIDAD DE EXTRANJERO (TIE) and click “Aceptar” (Accept).
3. On the next screen, read the information provided and click “Entrar” (Enter) to continue.
4. Enter the applicant’s details: document type N.I.E., NIE number (it must exactly match the one assigned to you, otherwise the appointment won’t be valid) and full name.
5. Click “Aceptar” (Accept).
6. Choose an available date and time.
7. Save your appointment confirmation.

What do you need to collect your TIE?

To collect it you will generally need:

• The TIE application receipt (resguardo).
• Original, valid passport or ID document.
• Your previous TIE card, if this is a renewal.
• The original police report, if your previous card was lost or stolen.

The card must be collected by its holder, except for certain exceptions for minors and legally represented persons.
